About Department

The Department was established in 2012 with an aim to be global center of excellence in technical education & innovative applications producing excellent professionals with integrity besides being useful to all the stake holders under the able guidance of professional &experienced teaching staff.

The Department of Electrical Engineering educates and conducts research covering wide areas of information science, from fundamental technologies such as electrical machine design, MATLAB programming, microprocessor and microcontroller, switchgear and power system protection, industrial instrumentation, which support infrastructures of the highly industrial machine design, drives, substation and automation,and theoretical electrical instrumentation.

To achieve our mission, we provide attractive educational programs for students to learn from the basics to advanced technologies related to Electrical engineering. Through our educational programs students are expected to become leading engineers and researchers who are highly motivated and have practical, creative, and management skills to drive an advanced next-generation information society in all industrial fields.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1: Hold the skills and knowledge required to design, develop and inspect electrical systems and be able to address

            current electrical engineering, industry, and interdisciplinary problems.

PEO2: Be able to adapt to various working environments through effective communication skills and the ability to

            function as a team.

PEO3: Be able to investigate complicated problems and take up research and development work in the allied fields.

PEO4: Be able to continually build their knowledge and skills and engage in lifelong learning.

Program Specific Outcomes

PSO1: To be able to work from a comprehensive and industrial perspective.

PSO2: Prove skill in the domains of Electrical Engineering viz. Electrical Vehicle, Smart grid, network analysis, control

            systems, electrical machines, electronics, electrical power systems and power system protection.

PSO3: Explore and contribute to the energy-efficient use of electricity through the acquisition of knowledge.
