About Department

Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2012. The department is enriched with dedicated faculties. Also,  committed supporting  staffs to help the  students to gain skill-based technical knowledge. The  department has state-of-the-art  laboratories such as Surveying,  Mechanics of solids, Cad-based designing, etc. equipped  with Total Station, UTM, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Primavera  P6, and many more. Apart from this, the department has GPCB recognized Environmental Audit cell and Government  approved Civil  Material  Testing cell to fulfill the  training needs of the students and the research and consultancy needs of the department.  Department  often  organizes GUJCOST and ISTE sponsored seminars, workshops, conferences, and expert lectures on the recent advances in Civil Engineering practices. The Department is associated with renewed builder association of Surat city and signed MOU to acquire more meaningful outcome in the area of Smart City, Solid waste management, Green Building, etc.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1: To Pursue life-long learning including higher education and research.

PEO2: To Plan, design, execute, operate and maintain civil engineering projects within the specified time, cost, and quality.

PEO3: To develop abilities and talent, leading to creativity and productivity in the professional and industrial field beyond the curriculum and thus enhance the employability skill.

PEO4: To develop the ability to Manage resources and demonstrate commitment to professional work.

PEO5: To make overall development by providing an opportunity of participating in R&D projects with state-of-art facility laboratories, consultancy, and professional global activities in the area of Civil Engineering.
