Climate change is characterized by long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns, which may occur naturally, such as through variations in the solar cycle. On the 5th of April 2023, the civil engineering department of Pacific School of Engineering, Surat, organized a webinar on Potential Impacts of Climate Change with Mitigation and Resource Sustainability for its civil engineering students on an online platform. During the webinar, Dr. Hiteshri Shastri provided a brief introduction to climate change and its impact on the earth, followed by Dr. Geeta Joshi's session, which covered the impact of climate change on Gujarat state over the past years and included a current trend analysis on climate change. The students found both sessions to be interesting and interactive.

As we know that there are many types of cement available in market but for special decorative purpose white cement is used. So this whole expert lecture was about white cement and its innovative uses.

Geology is the study of the Earth - how it works and its 4.5 billion-year history.  Geologists study some of society’s most important problems, such as energy, water, and mineral resources; the environment; climate change; and natural hazards like landslides, volcanoes, earthquakes, and floods. There is currently a shortage of well-trained geoscientists and the demand is growing.  If you like science, care about the earth, are fascinated by the natural world, and like working outdoors, consider geology.  There is more scope in the field of geology and geosciences.
